What is Microblading?

Microblading is a form of permanent cosmetics where a hand-held tool is used to draw small, natural looking hairs directly into the skin. This procedure takes less time than traditional permanent make-up, is less painful, and looks much more natural. It lasts anywhere from 8-18 months and fades away slowly. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking to fill in sparse brows or completely create new brows. We strongly recommend scheduling a consultation (always free!) before your appointment. The prices below includes your consultation, appointment, home care kit, and your touch up in 6-8 weeks.

Pre Care Instructions for Permanent Makeup/Microblading
  • Do not drink alcohol or caffeine (coffee, tea, soda, energy drinks,etc.)  48 hours prior to your appointment
  • Do not take aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin # or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure (Please consult with your doctor before stopping any medication)
  • You should skip moisturizing for 24 hours, the drier the skin the better the result.
  • No tinting 3 weeks prior
  • Do not wax, shave or pluck your brows.  Every attempt is made to retain all natural hair and integrate it into the design of the permanent eyebrows.  In some cases where shaping of the natural brow is required, a few hairs here and there may need to be removed to create a clean and aesthetically pleasing result.
  • Avoid tanning 1 week prior to your appointment
  • Discontinue Glycolics, Chemical Peels, Retin-A and any eyebrow growth serums on or near your brows 2 weeks prior to and stop after your appointment to avoid them from fading fast.
  • If you use Botox or fillers it should be performed 2 months prior to and 2 months after your appointment.
Aftercare Instructions

  • Aftercare ointment SHOULD be applied once a day for 7-10 days after the 48 hours. Use Q-tip to apply gently with very little amount as too much of the ointment can end up infecting or too much scabbing, which will end up in loosing the pigment. DO NOT APPLY OINTMENT IF YOU HAVE OILY SKIN.
    • Avoid water on the brow area until scabs naturally peels off.  If you don't know how to avoid getting water on your brows while showering please visit a salon to get your hair shampooed or you may use dry shampoo, and use face wipes to clean your face.
    • Do not scrub, scrape, rub or pick at the epithelial crust that forms.  This could cause scarring, hair loss, and additional pigment loss-allow it to fall of naturally.
    • No working out (excess sweating) for at least 10 days
    • No long hot showers and steam for 10 days
    • No direct sun exposure.  Once the area has healed completely, consider using a waterproof total sunblock when going out in the sun to help the color from fading
    • No swimming for 1 month.  Chlorine in swimming pools, hot tubs, and salt in seawater can bleach out your color.
    • Sleep on your back or reclining position to avoid rubbing your brows on the pillow
    • Do not wear makeup or use any FACIAL PRODUCT/TREATMENT on or near the treated area for 2 weeks. To extend the life of the brows avoid abrasive facial treatments in the brow area.
